Our Story

How it started

Built the way villages used to be built

Sampada Village began as a patch of farmland outside the city — flat, quiet, and mostly overlooked. Rather than clear it for concrete, the land was worked with: mud dug and mixed for the walls, grass cut and laid for the roofs, bamboo grown on-site and lashed by hand for every porch post.

What stands today is less a resort than a small hamlet — a cluster of round-walled, thatch-roofed cottages arranged around a pond and a working garden, built over seasons rather than months, and still added to a little at a time.

What we believe

Slow hospitality, low footprint

We keep things close to the ground here. Walls are mud and lime, not cement. Roofs are grass, not sheet metal. The kitchen cooks what the garden grows, and the pond does the work an air-conditioner would elsewhere. It isn't a theme — it's simply how the place was built, and how it stays livable through Delhi's harsh summers and cold winters alike.

What we host

Family weekends, festivals, and quiet escapes

Alongside overnight stays, the painted pavilion at the centre of the property hosts everything from Diwali and Holi get-togethers to birthdays and small celebrations — long tables, string lights, and the same thatch roof overhead.

Where we are

A short drive out of the city, a long way from its noise

Sampada Village sits on the rural edge of Delhi NCR, close to Brijghat and Garh Ganga — near enough for an evening after Ganga darshan, and far enough that the fields take over.
